A New Home for DMYAT

Des Moines Young Artists’ Theatre (DMYAT) is ready to start our next act. We’re thrilled to announce our move to a new rehearsal home at the former Des Moines University campus in the Munroe Building, 3380 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312.

This move represents significant growth for DMYAT as we step into over 4,000 sq. ft of standalone space, unleashing a whole new world of possibilities. Our new home is a safe and clean space that reflects the high quality of our programs and productions.

Our mission remains the same: to introduce students and their families to the transformative power of live theatre. We believe the arts can shape confident, creative thinkers and we train young performers in every aspect of theatre.
